Estabished by vote on February 3, 1977, as the Cedar County Ambulance District at the County Courthouse according to state law, Judge York convening.

The elected directors were sworn in by County Clerk James R. Lower. Those present and sworn in were:

District #3: Cleetis C. Hopkins

District #4: Robert L. Scharnhort

District #5: Richard D. Brumback

District #6: Denzel P. Hamby
